First off, a little historical context from the JBBS feedback post! Here's a typical fic response from JBBS.
As we can plainly see, not only has the recipient of this gift-fic commented, but so too have several other people. Obviously, I'd say, JBBS gets you a bit more intense exposure than just posting something to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) titans_together.
Not as many comments here, but still there's been a bundle.
OH! OH! WHAT IS THAT!? WAIT, WHAT IS THAT!?
But hey, could be me, right? Could be that people just don't like my writing. Let's check in with Yuletide.
Well! Yessirreebob, that is quite a difference. At least someone enjoyed it... wait a minute... wait a minute... let's show the full page.
Oh! Oh! So many comments! I don't know what to do with all these comments! Thank you, kind sirs... but let's Page Up!
AND STILL THERE ARE MOOOOOOOORE! Let's skip ahead, see just how many comments there are.
24, BITCH! THAT'S HOW MANY EPISODES THERE ARE IN A SEASON OF 24! IF JACK BAUER STOPPED ONCE AN EPISODE TO COMMENT ON MY FIC, THAT'S HOW MANY COMMENTS THERE WOULD BE!
But hey, let's be fair. You really can't compare the two. After all, Hot Shots is a big, ginormous fandom, comparable in size only to Harry Potter. Obviously, if I had written a Teen Titans fic for Yuletide, it would have been similarly ignored.
OH! OH! WHUT?
So in the ficathon COMPLETELY DEVOTED TO TEEN TITANS, I got less comments on a Teen Titans fic than in Yuletide. What is that? That's bullshit, is what that is.
So, in conclusion, I have proven that everyone involved in Yuletide rocks, while everyone involved in JBBS sucks, save for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bozaloshtsh. Thanks, Bosley.

No, that's an indication that people have lots and lots of Teen Titans stories to read, rather than one or two Hot Shots stories.
It's probably also an indication that your Yuletide story was better than your JBBS one.
I did the best I could with the characters I was assigned.
